Amount of credits ( O + CO) 30 30 Amount of credits for study year Total 60 36 Number of hours (13 weeks/semester) (17 + 19) Amount of exams/classified credits/ credits/state exams 15 (7 + 8) 0/1/9/2 0/0/6/4 Conditions for completion of study with honors and Rector s Award Students can graduate with honors if they fulfill all following conditions: a) achieve average exam results less than 150, b) have no exam classification satisfactory or sufficient, c) state examinations are performed with the result excellent The exam results of elective subjects are not counted in the overall average The Rector may allow the student to request a new examination of the subjects, which was graded satisfactory or sufficient for a maximum of two subjects throughout the study Results of state examinations cannot be repaired Graduates can be awarded by Rector's Award if they fulfill all following conditions: a) achieve throughout the study exam results to 120 grade, b) perform state examinations with the grade excellent, c) they have no grade satisfactory or sufficient Correction of the exam results is not permitted Student, who was re-registered in the same year, cannot get the Rector s Award Results of state examinations cannot be corrected Field experience and professional experience Field experience: Private veterinary doctors (field experience can be obtained also abroad): 80 hours after the 4 th year of study Contents: The aim of field experience is to get acquainted with the organisation and practical work of private veterinary doctors The students are practising in special veterinary ambulances and services performing veterinary duties (preventive, prophylactic and therapeutic actions), keeping evidence of the field experience and participating in preventive and medical actions under the supervision of veterinary doctors, in agreement with legislative provisions of the respective country
