April 25, 2014 Press Release: Jamia to deliberate on Nanotechnology and Renewable Energy The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize a National Conference on Nanotechnology and Renewable Energy (NCNRE 2014) on April 28 & 29, 2014. The Conference will bring together leading scientists in nanotechnology and renewable energy to share their ideas and exchange information on their latest research progress. NCNRE 2014 will feature presentations from the country s renowned scientists in nanotechnology and renewable energy. The Conference shall provide a perfect forum for scientists and company representatives to explore the opportunities the university provides for linkage with industry for promotion of scientific equipment and technology. The Inaugural Programme of the Conference is scheduled to be held on April 28, 2014 at 10 a.m. in Ansari Auditorium, Jamia Millia Islamia. Dr. Alok Srivastava, Joint Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, New Delhi shall be the Chief Guest of the Inaugural Function. Prof. S.M. Sajid, Vice Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia shall preside over the function. The Keynote Address shall be delivered by Dr. Kanji Lal, Director, IUAC, New Delhi In the two day Conference faculty members, experts from varied discipline, research scholars from IIT of Delhi, Madras, Kharagpur, Roorkee, B.R.
