ACHIEVEMENTS 2007-2013 367 projects on RES utilisation, energy efficiency and energy savings initiated and realized in total value 100.000.000 EUR in the period between 2007-2013. 6.203 MWh converted to biomass from fossil fuels 281 projects on buldings refurbishment realised - introducing low-energy standards into old public buildings Reduction of CO2 emissions = 15.500 t/year 130 seminars,workshops and conferences have been organised for more than 3300 participants from all types of targets groups so far Organising and coordinating of public procurement of bulk energy for organisations established by the Zlín Region brought savings 3.200.000 EUR till 2013

Reconstruction of central heating plant in Brumov Bylnice - impacts and benefits Two new green jobs and preservations of 6 existing ones (region with the high unemployment rate and low income) Old 6,7 MW boiler replaced with the new one on biomass 3 MW heat for 13 objects of the town + 20 apartment houses ROI = 4 years Annual heat production from biomass = 20.000GJ (5.600 MWh) long term contracts for biomass (woodchips) delivery with Slovak partners part were agreed (15 years) Annual CO2 reduction = 926 tons CASE STUDY CHS ON BIOMASS

CASE STUDY PASSIVE STANDARD BUILDING Introducing of the passive standard to the Kindergarten in Pitín Adaptation carried out by the project heat insulation by using natural materials completely new lighting equipment installed windows exchange reconstruction of the boiler room solar systém installation (heat x hot water) heat recuperation The results: introduction of passive standard (less than 15kWh/m2year) reduction of energy consumption by 80% reduction of CO2 emissions by 64t/year
