7 Instlltion e Condenste pump 7.3.2 Externl connections If n externlly condenste dringe pipe is used, following mesures should e mde to prevent freezing: The pipe should e run internlly s fr s possile efore going to the outside. The pipe dimeter should e incresed to minimum inner dimeter of 30 mm (typiclly outer dimeter of 32 mm) efore it goes through the wll. The externl run should e kept s short s possile, tking the most verticl route possile to the dischrge point. Tke into ccount tht there re no horizontl section in which condenste might collect. The externl pipe should e insulted. Use suitle wterproof nd wether proof insultion ("Clss O" pipe insultion is suitle for this purpose). The use of fittings nd elows should e kept to minimum. Any internl urrs should e removed so tht the internl pipe section is s smooth s possile. 7.4 Connecting the wter piping 7.4.1 Connecting the wter piping of the gs oiler To connect the wter piping for domestic hot wter 1 Flush the instlltion thoroughly to clen. The minimum pressure is 0.1 r. A low flow (<5 l/min) cn reduce comfort. Mke sure to set the setpoint high enough. To connect the wter piping for spce heting Use the stright rss fitting connections (ccessory of the het pump unit). 1 The spce heting piping of the oiler will e connected to the indoor unit. 2 Instll the stright rss fitting connections so tht they perfectly mtch the connection of oth modules. 3 Tighten the stright rss fitting connections. c c Domestic hot wter outlet Cold wter inlet Pressure relief vlve (field supply) 2 Instll pressure relief vlve ccording to locl nd ntionl regultions (if required). 3 Connect the hot wter connection (Ø15 mm). 4 Connect the min cold wter connection (Ø15 mm). DANGER: RISK OF BURNING In cse of high leving wter set points for spce heting (either high fixed set point or high wether-dependent set point t low mient tempertures), the het exchnger of the oiler cn e heted up to tempertures higher then 60 C. In cse of tpping demnd, it is possile tht smll volume of wter tpping (<0.3 l) hs temperture higher then 60 C. NOTICE Outlet spce heting Inlet spce heting Mke sure tht the stright rss fitting connections re tightened thoroughly to prevent lekge. Mximum torque is 30 N m. To fill the domestic wter circuit of the gs oiler 1 Open the min tp to pressurize the hot wter section. 2 Vent the exchnger nd the pipe system y opening hot wter tp. 14

7 Instlltion 3 Leve the tp open until ll ir hs disppered from the system. 4 Check ll connections for leks including internl connections. 7.5 Connecting the electricl wiring DANGER: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION WARNING ALWAYS use multicore cle for power supply cles. 7.5.1 To connect the min power supply of the gs oiler 1 Connect the power supply cle of the gs oiler to fuse () (L: X2-2 (BRN), N: X2-4 (BLU)). 2 Connect the erthing of the gs oiler to n erthing terminl. Result: The gs oiler performs test. ppers on the service disply. After the test, ppers on the service disply (wit mode). The pressure in r is shown on the min disply. 4 Put the (lrger) oiler connector through the knockout hole. Fix the cle in the switch ox y routing it ehind the pre-mounted wires. Solenoid coil Connector X5 5 Plug the gs oiler connector into connector X5 of the gs oiler PCB. Mke sure the solenoid coil is outside the gs oiler switch ox. X2 DANGER: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION A fused spur or n unswitched socket MUST e locted no more thn 1 m from the pplince. CAUTION For instlltion in dmp rooms, fixed connection is oligtory. When working on the electricl circuit ALWAYS isolte the electric supply. 7.5.2 To connect the communiction cle etween gs oiler nd indoor unit 1 Open the gs oiler. 2 Open the switch ox cover of the gs oiler. 3 Remove one of the igger knockout holes on the right side of the switch ox of the gs oiler. 6 Route the communiction cle from the gs oiler to the indoor unit s in figure elow. 15
