He works since 2005 at the Department of Environmental Economics at the same university as a lecturer and researcher. He finished his Ph.D. in 2010. He specializes himself in the empirical research in the environmental economics field, especially in the environmental policy, consumer choice modeling, modeling demand for the non-marketed goods, discrete choice models, tradable emission schemes, environmental taxes a charges and the broader context of the environmental policy implementation. He works also as a consultant for the private sector, at regulatory impact assessment studies (ETS, Charges, environmental taxes etc.) and the CO2 verifier under the EU ETS. He is author of several scientific studies, papers in the Czech and foreign reviewed journals, teaching case studies and also co-author of the book Company and the Environment.
