() 4 Instlltion 4.1 Opening the units 4.1.1 To open the switch ox cover of the indoor unit 1 Remove the side pnel t the right side of the indoor unit. The side pnel is fixed t the ottom with 1 screw. Remove the upper nd lower screw on the side pnel of the switch ox. Connecting the refrigernt piping See the outdoor unit instlltion mnul for ll guidelines, specifictions nd instlltion instructions. 4..1 To connect the refrigernt piping to the indoor unit 1 Connect the liquid stop vlve from the outdoor unit to the refrigernt liquid connection of the indoor unit. NOTICE Do NOT instll vlves to shut down the entire emitter system (rditors, floor heting loops, fn coil units,...) instntly if this cn result in n immedite short circuit of the wter flow etween the outlet nd the inlet of the unit (for exmple vi ypss vlve). This my trigger n error. 1 Connect the wter inlet connection (Ø mm). Connect the wter outlet connection (Ø mm). To fill the spce heting circuit Refrigernt liquid connection Refrigernt gs connection Connect the gs stop vlve from the outdoor unit to the refrigernt gs connection of the indoor unit. 4.4 Connecting the wter piping 4.4.1 Connecting the wter piping of the indoor unit To connect the wter piping for spce heting NOTICE In cse of old heting instlltions, it is recommended to use dirt seprtor. Dirt or sediment from the heting instlltion cn dmge the unit nd reduce its lifetime. NOTICE Do NOT use excessive force when connecting the piping. Deformtion of the piping cn cuse mlfunctioning of the unit. NOTICE It is recommended to instll shut off vlves to spce heting in nd spce heting out connections. Shut off vlves re field supplied. They llow service to the unit without drining the whole system. Foresee drin/fill point to drin or fill the spce heting circuit Before filling the spce heting circuit, the gs oiler MUST e instlled. 1 Flush the instlltion thoroughly to clen the circuit. Connect the wter supply hose to the drin point (field supply). Power up the gs oiler to see the pressure indiction on the oiler disply. 4 Mke sure tht the ir purge vlves of the gs oiler nd the het pump module re open (t lest turns). 5 Fill the circuit with wter until the oiler disply indictes pressure of ± r (with minimum of 0.5 r). 6 Purge ir from the wter circuit s much s possile. 7 Disconnect the wter supply hose from the drin point. NOTICE Air in the wter circuit cn cuse mlfunctioning. During filling, it my not e possile to remove ll the ir from the circuit. Remining ir will e removed through the utomtic ir purge vlves during the initil operting hours of the system. Additionl filling with wter fterwrds my e required. To purge the system, use the specil function s descried in the chpter "6 Commissioning" on pge 0. This function should e used to purge the het exchnger coil of the domestic hot wter tnk. 4.4. To fill the domestic hot wter tnk For instlltion instructions, see the instlltion mnul of the domestic hot wter tnk. 7

4 Instlltion 4.4.4 To insulte the wter piping The piping in the complete wter circuit must e insulted to prevent condenstion during cooling opertion nd reduction of the heting nd cooling cpcity. If the temperture is higher thn 0 C nd the humidity is higher thn RH 80%, the thickness of the seling mterils should e t lest 0 mm to prevent condenstion on the surfce of the seling. In cse of EHYHBX 4.5 Connecting the electricl wiring DANGER: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION WARNING ALWAYS use multicore cle for power supply cles. 4.5.1 To connect the electricl wiring on the indoor unit It is recommended to instll ll electricl wiring to the hydro ox efore instlling the oiler. 1 Wiring should enter the unit from the ottom. Fix the cle with cle ties to the cle tie mountings. 4.6 Finishing the indoor unit instlltion 4.6.1 To close the indoor unit 1 Close the switch ox. Mount the side plte to the unit. Mount the top plte. NOTICE When closing the indoor unit cover, mke sure tht the tightening torque does NOT exceed 4.1 N m. Before doing the configurtion of the het pump module, the gs oiler MUST e instlled correctly. The configurtion influences the following: The clcultions of the softwre Wht you cn see on nd do with the user interfce Legend for the settings tles: #: Bredcrum in the menu structure Code: Code in the overview settings When the instller settings re chnged, the system will request to confirm. When confirmtion is complete, the screen will shortly turn OFF nd "usy" will e displyed for severl seconds. The most commonly used instlltion settings re ccessile through the menu structure. Their loction is mentioned y the redcrum indiction (#). Additionlly, ll instller settings cn lso e found in "5.1. Menu structure: Overview instller settings" on pge 18. For ccess to the setting codes, see "To ccess the instller settings" on pge 1. Not ll settings re ccessile through the menu structure. Some re only ccessile through their code. Then in the tle explined elow, the red crum is set s N/A (not pplicle). To connect the PC cle to the switch ox Prerequisite: The EKPCCAB kit is required. 1 Connect the cle with USB connection to your PC. Connect the plug of the cle to X10A on A1P of the switch ox of the indoor unit. 1

This procedure offers you lso the possiility to copy the lnguge set from one user interfce to the other one: e.g. from EKRUCBL to EKRUCBL1. 1 When power is turned on for the first time, oth user interfces disply: 5 Select the required ction: Send dt: the user interfce you re operting contins the correct dt nd the dt on the other user interfce will e overwritten. The gs oiler is properly mounted.
