Emergency We recommend to set Emergency to Automtic if the house is unttended for longer periods. [9.5] N/A 0: Mnul : Automtic The uto emergency setting cn be set in the menu structure of the user interfce only. If [4 03]= or 3, then Emergency=Mnul is not pplicble for the booster heter. If het pump filure occurs nd Emergency is set to Mnul, the room frost protection function, the underfloor heting screed dryout function, nd the wter pipe ntifreeze function will remin ctive even if the user does NOT confirm emergency opertion. Number of zones The system cn supply leving wter to up to wter temperture zones. During configurtion, the number of wter zones must be set. [4.4] [7 0] 0: Single zone Only one leving wter temperture zone: : Min LWT zone [4.4] [7 0] : Dul zone Two leving wter temperture zones. The min leving wter temperture zone consists of the higher lod het emitters nd mixing sttion to chieve the desired leving wter temperture. In heting: CAUTION : Additionl LWT zone: Highest temperture b: Min LWT zone: Lowest temperture If there re zones, it is importnt tht the zone with the lowest wter temperture is configured s the min zone, nd the zone with the highest wter temperture is configured s the dditionl zone. Not configuring the system in this wy could cuse dmge to the het emitters. CAUTION If there re zones nd the emitter types re wrongly configured, wter of high temperture cn be sent towrds low temperture emitter (underfloor heting). To void this: Instll n qustt/thermosttic vlve to void too high tempertures towrds low temperture emitter. Mke sure you set the emitter types for the min zone [.7] nd for the dditionl zone [3.7] correctly in ccordnce with the connected emitter. 5..4 Configurtion wizrd: Bckup heter The bckup heter is dpted to be connected to most common Europen electricity grids. If the bckup heter is vilble, the voltge, configurtion nd cpcity must be set on the user interfce. The cpcities for the different steps of the bckup heter must be set for the energy metering nd/or power consumption control feture to work properly. When mesuring the resistnce vlue of ech heter, you cn set the exct heter cpcity nd this will led to more ccurte energy dt. Voltge For 3V model, this is fixed to 30V, ph. For 6V model, this cn be set to: 30V, ph 30V, 3ph For 9W model, this is fixed to 400V, 3ph. b 5

5 Configurtion [9.3.] [5 0D] 0: 30V, ph Configurtion 6 : 30V, 3ph : 400V, 3ph The bckup heter cn be configured in different wys. It cn be chosen to hve -step only bckup heter or bckup heter with steps. If steps, the cpcity of the second step depends on this setting. It cn lso be chosen to hve higher cpcity of the second step in emergency. [9.3.3] [4 0A] 0: Rely () : Rely / Rely + () : Rely / Rely () 3: Rely / Rely Emergency Rely + () Not vilble for 3V models. Settings [9.3.3] nd [9.3.5] re linked. Chnging one setting influences the other. If you chnge one, check if the other is still s expected. During norml opertion, the cpcity of the second step of the bckup heter t nominl voltge is equl to [6 03]+[6 04]. If [4 0A]=3 nd emergency mode is ctive, the power usge of the bckup heter is mximl nd equl to [6 03]+[6 04]. Only for systems with integrted domestic hot wter tnk: If the storge temperture set point is higher thn 50 C, Dikin recommends NOT to disble the bckup heter second step becuse it will hve big impct on the required time for the unit to het up the domestic hot wter tnk. Cpcity step [9.3.4] [6 03] The cpcity of the first step of the bckup heter t nominl voltge. Additionl cpcity step [9.3.5] [6 04] The cpcity difference between the second nd first step of the bckup heter t nominl voltge. Nominl vlue depends on bckup heter configurtion. 5..5 Configurtion wizrd: Min zone The most importnt settings for the min leving wter zone cn be set here. Emitter type Depending on the system wter volume nd the heter emitter type of the min zone, the het up or cool down of the min zone cn tke longer. This setting cn compenste for slow or quick heting/cooling system during the het up/cool down cycle. The trget delt T for the min zone will depend on this setting. In room thermostt control, this setting will influence the mximum modultion of the desired leving wter temperture, nd the possibility for usge of the utomtic cooling/heting chngeover bsed on the indoor mbient temperture. Therefore it is importnt to set this correctly nd in ccordnce with your system lyout. [.7] [ 0C] 0: Underfloor heting : Fncoil unit : Rditor The setting of the emitter type hs n influence on the spce heting setpoint rnge nd the trget delt T in heting s follows: Description Spce heting setpoint rnge 0: Underfloor heting Mximum 55 C Vrible : Fncoil unit Mximum 55 C Vrible Trget delt T in heting : Rditor Mximum 65 C Fixed 0 C Control For rditors, the verge emitter temperture will be lower compred to underfloor heting, due to the fixed delt T of 0 C. To compenste, you cn: Increse the wether dependent curve desired tempertures [.5]. Enble leving wter temperture modultion nd increse the mximum modultion [.C]. For the control of the unit there re 3 possibilities: Control Leving wter Externl room thermostt Room thermostt In this control... Unit opertion is decided bsed on the leving wter temperture regrdless the ctul room temperture nd/or heting or cooling demnd of the room. Unit opertion is decided by the externl thermostt or equivlent (e.g. het pump convector). Unit opertion is decided bsed on the mbient temperture of the user interfce used s room thermostt. [.9] [C 07] 0: Leving wter Setpoint mode : Externl room thermostt : Room thermostt In Fixed mode, the desired leving wter temperture does NOT depend on the outdoor mbient temperture. In WD heting, fixed cooling mode, the desired leving wter temperture: depends on the outdoor mbient temperture for heting does NOT depend on the outdoor mbient temperture for cooling In Wether dependent mode, the desired leving wter temperture depends on the outdoor mbient temperture.

5 Configurtion [.4] N/A Setpoint mode 0: Fixed : WD heting, fixed cooling : Wether dependent When wether dependent opertion is ctive, low outdoor tempertures will result in wrmer wter nd vice vers. During wether dependent opertion, the user hs the possibility to shift the wter temperture up or down by mximum of 0 C. Schedule Indictes if the desired leving wter temperture is ccording to schedule. Influence of the LWT setpoint mode [.4] is s follows: In Fixed LWT setpoint mode, the scheduled ctions consist of desired leving wter tempertures, either preset or custom. In Wether dependent LWT setpoint mode, the scheduled ctions consist of desired shift ctions, either preset or custom.
