Ing. Ondřej Přibyl, Ph.D. Modelování chování rezidentů v chytrých městech Modeling of activity behavior in smart cities okruh The aim of this thesis is to study the travel behavior of the population with regard to the creation of daily programs of activities. First, data collection on the behavior and decision-making of the population with regard to smart cities will be collected. These will be created to calibrate mathematical models. The aim of this thesis is to create a microscopic mobility model in cities. The expected tool for this simulation is SW MatSim or SUMO. This is a broadly conceived framework topic, to be clarified in agreement with the doctoral student. This topic will be of practical use because it is part of the OPVVV Smart City - Smart Region - Smart Community project. Student or student can be directly involved in the project team. The intended area of use is the city of Ústí nad Labem.

Ing. Evženie Suzdaleva, CSc. Inicializace modelu směsi distribucí Mixture initialization dohodnuté agreed with supervisor Initialization is known as an important task within the classification based on mixture models. From a practical point of view, the correct initialization of components of the mixture is necessary for the successful start of the estimation algorithm and the subsequent classification. The dissertation will focus on the mentioned issue. 1. Bernardo, J. & Smith, A. Bayesian Theory John Wiley & Sons, 1997 2. Tanner, M. Tools for statistical inference Springer Verlag, 1993 3. Doc. Ing. Ivan Nagy, CSc. Analysis of data from real applications dohodnuté Analysis of data coming from real applications is an important method used in many areas of investigation of complex natural or technical systems. In transportation, the data are measured on magnetic detectors or traffic cameras located above the controlled crossroads. Very important source of data are also questionnaires e.g. filled in with traffic accidents. Questionnaires are also frequent in medical research. Those data are mostly discrete. Statistical methods used for discrete data are not so developed as those for data continuous. The goal of this topic is focused on the discrete data and development of statistical methods which can be used for their analysis. The work should involve the following topics: - Analysis of discrete data with comparison probability functions of conditioned variables. - Modeling of discrete data using a mixture of selected distributions. - Investigation of discrete data Nagy Ivan, Suzdaleva Evgenia : Algorithms and Programs of Dynamic Mixture Estimation. Ing. Josef Volek, CSc. Využití Zlatého řezu v navrhování sítí. Use of Golden Ratio in Network Design okruh Přirozené chování lidí se v mnohých případech shoduje s pravidlem tzv.
