Hradec Králové Region Basic information The Hradec Králové region is situated in Northeast Bohemia. The Krkonoše and the Orlice Mountains ranges form the northern and northwestern borders with Poland. The region s largest cities are Hradec Králové, Trutnov, Náchod and Jičín. In 2004 in the survey conducted by the reputable czech newspaper the city of Hradec Králové was named the best place to live in the entire Czech Republic.
