A special air-tight inlay is fitted on the inner side as a substitute for a tube. In the bead area a special compound guaranteeing high shape flexibility where the rim meats the bead is used. This significantly increases airtightness in extreme conditions and prevents the tyre from shifting on the rim when braking sharply. The tubeless technology ensures greater riding comfort and adhesion in comparison with a traditional tyre structure with the same tread pattern and inflation, since the contact area with the ground is larger. The risk of getting a Snake Bite a puncture on the rim edge caused during extreme deformation of the tyre, is reduced to a minimum as no tube is used. The drum technology (OLT) ensures higher puncture resistance in the tread area. These tyres are designed for racing. The weight is comparable with a set (tyre, tube, rimtape). TPI 7 Skinwall Typ Konstruktion die Reifenseitenwand wird aus gummiertem Reifenkord und der Wulstkern aus Aramidfaser hergestellt. Auf der Innenseite ist eine spezielle luftdichte Einlage eingelegt, die den Luftschlauch ersetzt. Im Bereich des Fusses wurde eine Spezialmischung verwendet, welche eine hohe Formflexibilität zwischen der Felge und dem Deckenwulst sichert. Damit wird die Beständigkeit gegen das Entweichen der Luft bei einer Extrembelastung aus dem System erhöht, und auch die Möglichkeit der Verdrehung des Fahrradreifens auf der Felge wird bei starkem Bremsen verhindert.
