Charakteristika Characteristics Charakteristik Areál brněnského výstaviště se rozkládá na ploše 650 000 m 2 a je ideálním místem pro komunikaci na všech úrovních. V období mimo konání výstav a veletrhů nabízí k pronájmu více než 100 000 m 2 kryté plochy v pavilonech nebo 90 000 m 2 pod širým nebem. Dá se tu uspořádat kongres, sympozium, firemní prezentace, banket anebo libovolná společenská akce a to s odpovídajícím vybavením, kompletními službami a v neopakovatelné atmosféře stylově čisté funkcionalistické architektury. Komplex sálů a hal pojme až 10 000 osob. Historie History Geschichte Podnětem k vybudování brněnského výstaviště se stala Výstava soudobé kultury v Československu, která se konala od května do září 1928 k desetiletému jubileu samostatné republiky. Na projektech jednotlivých pavilonů se podílela většina předních tuzemských architektů a nový brněnský areál se svou velikostí a urbanistickým pojetím stal největším a nejmodernějším výstavištěm předválečného Československa. Díky Výstavě soudobé kultury navíc organizátoři získali neocenitelné zkušenosti, které se staly důležitým předpokladem pro budoucí vývoj veletržní a výstavní činnosti v Brně. První Mezinárodní veletrh Brno, zaměřený převážně na strojírenství, se uskutečnil od 6. do 20. září 1959. Zúčastnilo se jej 432 vystavovatelů z 29 zemí, kteří představili exponáty setříděné v jednačtyřiceti oborech. Z původně všeobecně zaměřených akcí se během několika desetiletí postupně vyčlenila řada speciálních veletrhů, které vytvořily základ dnešního výstavního programu. Výstaviště dodnes představuje pozoruhodnou kolekci funkcionalistické architektury, na kterou plynule navazují další tvůrci. Pozoruhodný a jedinečný po technické stránce je zejména pavilon Z z roku 1959, kruhová stavba o průměru 122 metry s dvěma galeriemi a ocelovou kupolí 46 metrů vysokou. The remarkable and unique especially from the technical point of view is especially the pavilion from 1959, a circular structure with a diameter 122 metres, two galleries and steel cupola 46 metres high. Das Messegelände stellt bis heute eine einmalige Kollektion der funktionalistischen Architektur dar, an die bis heute kontinuierlich weitere Gestalter anschließen. Merkwürdig aus der technischen Seite ist vor allen die Halle Z aus dem Jahr 1959, runder Bau eines Durchmessers von ca. 122 Meter mit zwei Galerien und einer 46 Meter hohen Stahlkuppel. The incentive for building the Brno Exhibition Centre was the Contemporary Culture Exhibition in Czechoslovakia, held from May until September 1928 for the ten year jubilee of the independent republic. The majority of the local architects were involved in the projects for individual pavilions and the new complex became thanks to its size and urban approach the biggest and most modern Exhibition Centre in the Czechoslovakia before the war. Thanks to the Contemporary Culture Exhibition the organisers gained priceless experience that became an important precondition for the future development of the exhibition and trade fair activities in Brno. The first International trade fair in Brno, focused especially on machinery, took place on 6 20 September, 1959. 432 exhibitors from 29 countries introduced their exhibits classified in 41 areas. The originally general events during the past decades turned into a number of specialised trade fairs that make a base of the present exhibition programme. Der Anlass zur Errichtung des Messegeländes Brno wurde die Ausstellung der zeitgenossischen Kultur in der Tschechoslowakei, die seit Mai bis September 1928 zum zehnjährigen Jubiläum der eigenständigen Republik stattfand. Auf den Projekten der einzelnen Hallen nahmen die meisten führenden inländischen Architekten statt und das neue Brünner Areal war durch seine Größe und städtebauliche Konzeption das größte und modernste Messegelände der Tschechoslowakei vor dem Krieg. Dank der Ausstellung der zeitgenossischen Kultur erwarben die Veranstalter zusätzlich noch unschätzbare Erfahrungen. Diese waren dann eine sehr wichtige Vorraussetzung für die künftige Entwicklung der Messe- und Ausstellungstätigkeit in Brno. Die erste Internationale Messe Brno, die vor allem auf den Maschinenbau gerichtet wurde, fand ab 6. bis 20. September 1959 statt. Es nahmen hier 432 Aussteller aus 29 Ländern teil, die Exponate aus einundvierzig Fachgebieten vorgestellt haben. Aus den ursprünglich allgemein gezielten Veranstaltungen ist innerhalb von einigen Jahrzehnten eine Reihe von speziellen Messen, die zur Grundlage des heutigen Messeprogramms geworden sind. 9

V okolí je dostatek parkovacích míst. Všechny prostory Kongresového centra lze využívat nezávisle na termínech veletrhů. Kromě výstavních a konferenčních prostor s veškerým technickým vybavením nabízíme: servis tlumočníků a hostesek, vydávání odborných publikací a sborníků, rozsev materiálů, překladatelské a tlumočnické služby, odborné marketingové služby a servis public relations, možnost příjezdu vlaku i přistání vrtulníku, pořádání doprovodných výstav nebo jiných akcí. The Congress Centre, which is situated next to the main entrance to the Brno Exhibition Centre and which has a direct entrance from Street Hlinky, offers 6 halls, restaurant and interiors suitable for accompanying exhibitions and social events. There are many parking places close by. All the premises of the Congress Centre can be used independently on the trade fairs timing. Besides the exhibition and conference premises with all technical equipment we offer: interpreting and hostess service, expert publication and collection book publishing, distribution of materials, translation and interpreting services, professional marketing and public relations services, a possibility to arrange a train coming or helicopter landing within the grounds, organisation of accompanying exhibitions or other events. 10

Prostory Kongresového centra jsou vhodné pro akce nejvýše do 500 osob. Pro doprovodné výstavy je určeno buď předsálí nebo foyer, každý prostor má 200 m 2 hrubé výstavní plochy. For these events we recommend the premises of the Congress Centre, in case of more participants we can offer halls outside this building (cinema hall 102 and meeting room 103 on the first floor of the office building and Loos s Hall in Zámeček chateau). Sál Hall Saal Business Center, Business Center II Klimatizované sály mají samostatné vstupy z hlavní haly pavilonu E a vlastní recepce, z přízemí haly jsou dosažitelné dvěma rychlovýtahy a pojízdnými schody. Současně se sálem Business Center je možno využívat pět jednacích místností (každá s kapacitou 8 osob), dvě jednací místnosti (kapacita 17 a 25 osob) a dvě vybavené kanceláře (fax, kopírka, telefon, internet). Sál se dá propojit se sálem Business Center II s možností využívat ještě osm jednacích místností (šest s kapacitou 8 osob, dvě pro 20 a 35 osob) a dvě vybavené kanceláře (fax, kopírka, telefon, internet). Oba sály se dají propojit s výstavními halami pavilonu E, se sálem Press Center v druhém poschodí a hotelem Holiday Inn. Pavilon A Sál Hall Saal Morava, Sál Hall Saal Brno Oba sály, umístěné v pavilonu A v centru výstaviště, jsou klimatizované. Sál Morava má zabudovanou projekční stěnu, pro prezentace či menší výstavy je možné využít předsálí nebo propojit sál Morava se sálem Brno. Ten je vybaven moderně řešeným kulatým stolem, jeho kapacita se dá rozšířit doplněním křesel po obvodu místnosti. Propojením obou konferenčních sálů s halami A1 a A2 a sálem Rotunda se vytvářejí téměř neomezené kapacitní možnosti. Haly A1 a A2 s prosklenými stropy jsou rozloženy do několika vzájemně propojených lodí s postranními galeriemi a v zimním období se dají dobře vytápět. V centru mezi halami je velká restaurace a tři kongresové sály sál Brno, sál Morava a kruhový sál Rotunda. Možnosti využití: Pavilon A se velmi často využívá k doprovodným aktivitám, výstavám a předváděcím akcím, které mají zasedací část v Rotundě nebo sálech Morava a Brno. Při menších společenských událostech se dá prostor rozdělit. Díky architektonickému řešení se haly dají využít také k reklamním účelům, kulturně společenským akcím, natáčení reklamních spotů či videoklipů. Výstavní hala pavilonu B Exhibition Hall in pavilion B Ausstellungssaal der Halle B Budovu tvoří ocelová celoprosklená konstrukce. Celková výška 18 m je nad plochou 93 x 32 metrů, výška pod galerií představuje 7,1 m, nad galerií 5,2 m. V zimním období se hala dá dobře vytápět. Možnosti využití: Hala pavilonu B je vhodná pro akce, kdy počet účastníků přesahuje 3 000 osob. Souvislá plocha bez sloupů a jiných překážek byla v minulosti úspěšně využita jako sportovní hala pro tenisové turnaje Davis Cup a Fed Cup, soutěže cyklotrialu a další akce. Poměrně velký prostor se hodí také k reklamním účelům. Při akcích v pavilonu B je možné využít také pavilony D a E, protože jsou propojeny pasarely. The building is made of a steel fully glassed-in structure. The total height 18 m is above the area 93 x 32 metres, height under the gallery is 7,1 m and above the gallery 5,2 m. The hall can be heated well in winter. Usage: The hall in the pavilion B is suitable for events for up to 3 000 persons. The area without columns or other obstacles was successfully used as a sporting hall for tennis tournaments of Davis Cup and Fed Cup, cyclotrial and other events. This large hall is suitable also for promotion purposes. For the events in the pavilion B it is possible to use also pavilions D and E, as they are connected. Die Gesamthöhe von 18 Metern befindet sich über die Fläche 93 x 32 Meter, die Höhe unter der Galerie beträgt 7,1 m, über die Galerie dann 5,2 m. Im Winter kann die Halle gut beheizt werden. Nutzungsmöglichkeiten: die Halle B ist geeignet für die Veranstaltungen, bei denen die Anzahl der Teilnehmer nicht 3 000 übersteigt. Die zusammenhängende Fläche ohne Säulen und anderen Hindernissen wurde in der Vergangenheit erfolgreich auch wie eine Sporthalle für Tennistourniere Davis Cup und Fed Cup, Wettbewerbe im Biketrial und für andere Veranstaltungen verwendet. Der ziemlich große Raum eignet sich auch für die Werbezwecke. Bei den Veranstaltungen in der Halle B können auch die Hallen D und E, weil sie verbunden sind, verwendet werden. Výstavní hala pavilonu C Exhibition Hall in pavilion C Ausstellungssaal der Halle C Interiér výstavní haly je rozdělený do čtyř podlaží o výškách 5,5 m, přičemž nad středem haly o rozměru 20 x 21 m je užitná výška až 31 m. V zimním období se hala dá dobře vytápět. Možnosti využití: Interiér pavilonu C připomíná obchodní dům, v němž jsou patra vzájemně propojena eskalátory. Využití v meziveletržním období se nabízí především pro firemní prezentace vyžadující větší plochu rozdělenou do několika částí, ale také výstavy a příležitostné nabídky zboží výprodeje, burzy a další. V minulosti byla hala několikrát úspěšně využita pro výstavy psů a dalších domácích zvířat či mysliveckých trofejí. The usage between the trade fairs can be aimed especially at big business presentations divided into several parts, as well as exhibitions and occasional offers of goods sales, goods exchange and others. In the past it was several times successfully used for exhibitions of dogs, pets or hunting trophies. Die Innerräume der Ausstellungshalle sind in vier Etagen immer mit der Höhe von 5,5 m aufgeteilt, wobei über die Mitte der Halle im Ausmaß von 20 x 21 m beträgt die Nutzhöhe bis 31 m. Im Winter kann die Halle gut beheizt werden. Nutzungsmöglichkeiten: Das Interieur der Halle C erinnert an ein Kaufhaus in dem die Etagen untereinander mit den Rolltreppen verbunden sind. Die Nutzung in der Zeit zwischen den Messen bietet sich vor allem für die Firmenpräsentationen, die eine größere Fläche, die in mehrere Teile aufgeteilt werden soll verlangen, aber auch für Ausstellungen und gelegentliche Warenangebote Ausverkäufe, Börsen u. a.. In der Vergangenheit wurde die Halle einige Male erfolgreich für Hundeausstellungen oder für Ausstellungen anderer Haustiere oder Jagdtrophäen eingesetzt. Výstavní hala pavilonu D Exhibition Hall in pavilion D Ausstellungssaal der Halle D Reprezentativní halu tvoří ocelová celoprosklená konstrukce, ve spodní části doplněná mramorovým lemem. Půdorysná část je rozdělená do dvou výškových úrovní s rozdílem cca 1 m. Halu je možné v zimním období kvalitně vytápět. Možnosti využití: V meziveletržním období je prostor vhodný pro konání konferencí, valných hromad i jiných akcí pro 2 000 až 3 000 osob. Při menších počtech účastníků je možné prostor rozdělit. Hala akusticky vyhověla i jako velký koncertní sál při soutěžích dechových hudeb. Poměrně velký vnitřní prostor je vhodný k reklamním účelům, pro pořádání kulturně společenských akcí či natáčení propagačních spotů a videoklipů. Prostory lze využívat také nezávisle na provozu výstaviště, pro vstup pěších návštěvníků lze otevřít bránu číslo 2, která je přímo u pavilonu. Pavilon D může být zázemím pro akce pořádané v pavilonu B. The impressive hall is made of a steel fully glassed-in structure, on the bottom with a marble socle. It is possible to divide premises for smaller groups of visitors. The hall has good acoustics and served as a big concert hall during the brass band competition. The large premises are suitable for promotion, organising cultural and social events or filming promotion spots and video-clips. The premises can be used independently from the operation of the Brno Exhibition Centre, as the visitors can come through the gate No. 2, which is next to the pavilion. Pavilion D can serve as background for the events held in pavilion B. Die Repräsentative Halle bildet eine vollständig verglaste Stahlkonstruktion, im unteren Teil ergänzt mit einem Marmorrand. Die Grundfläche ist in zwei Höhenniveaus mit dem Unterschied von ca. 1 m aufgeteilt. Die Halle kann im Winter gut beheizt werden. Nutzungsmöglichkeiten: In der Zeit zwischen den Messen ist der Raum für die Veranstaltung von Konferenzen, Hauptversammlungen und auch anderen Veranstaltungen für 2 000 bis 3 000 Personen geeignet. Bei einer kleineren Anzahl der Teilnehmer kann der Raum aufgeteilt werden. Die Halle entsprach akustisch auch als großer Konzertraum bei den Wettbewerben der Blasmusikgruppen. Der ziemlich große Innenraum ist auch für die Werbezwecke, für die Veranstaltung von den kulturgesellschaftlichen Veranstaltungen oder zur Aufnahme der Werbespots und Videoclips geeignet. Die Räumlichkeiten können auch unabhängig vom Betrieb des Messegeländes genutzt werden. Für den Eintritt der Besucher kann das Tor 2, das sich direkt bei der Halle befindet, geöffnet werden. Die Halle D kann auch das Hinterland für die in der Halle B organisierte Veranstaltungen sein.
