Orea Spa Hotel Monty **** Mariánské Lázně Location The Orea Spa Hotel Monty is a unique historical hotel with a great view located in the beautiful forest park not far from the centre of Mariánské Lázně. The location of the resort has been a popular spot since 1828 when it became a frequent tourist destination known as Vyhlídka přátelství (Friendship Lookout). In honour of the prominent visitor, the Greek King Otto, a pavilion was built in that area and the lookout was renamed to Výšina krále Otty (The Heights of King Otta). In 1886 Gaspar Ott opened his renowned Egerländer café there and in 1901 following extensive construction works a luxury hotel was opened. In 1945 this building was called Monty, which was a nickname of the British marshal Bernard Montgomery..Accommodation The Orea Spa Hotel Monty a unique historical hotel with a great view located in the beautiful forest park not far from the centre of Mariánské Lázně. The non-smoking hotel offers accommodation in tastefully furnished and spacious rooms as well as suites. There are 104 rooms in total with 217 beds: 10 single rooms 75 double or twin rooms (36 twin rooms + 39 double rooms) 11 three-bedded rooms 4 four-bedded rooms 4 suites All the rooms are equipped with a SAT TV, telephone, WIFI, minibar, vault for valuables and a hair-drier. Baby cots and changing tables are available for families with children.
